With its more than 115-year tradition of being a part of the Slovenian electricity system, Elektro Ljubljana is the largest Slovenian electricity distribution company.
Operations are performed at the Company’s Headquarters in Ljubljana and five local distribution units (DU) in central and south-central Slovenia.
The company Elektro Ljubljana is organised by way of the following organisational units (OU): Network Operations and Development, Customer Services, Network Services, while the Corporate Expert Services are organised within the Corporate Services, Accounting and Finance and Technical Support.
In 2009, Elektro Ljubljana launched a procedure for the activities to restructure the Company with the purpose of separating network and marketing activities and setting-up a subsidiary company for the purchase and sale of electricity (Elektro energija d.o.o.).
Elektro Ljubljana d.d. operates distribution transformer stations (DTS) of varying voltages and transmission ratios: three 110/35 kV DTS, twenty-three 110/20/10 kV DTS and two 35/20/10 kV DTS. Twenty-five distribution stations (DS) ensure a reliable distribution of electricity to the final users.
We are connected to the transmission network at the following connection points: 400/220/110 kV DTS Beričevo, 220/110 kV DTS Kleče, 110/35 kV DTS TET and 110 kV DS Hudo. We operate a total of 18,532 km of power lines on 6.166 km2 and 5,224 transformer stations (TS) MV/0.42 kV.
